Nice board! Do you use the AGS on the Tone Hammer? Does it stack well with the MBD2? I’ve been using the THDI with AGS On as part of my always-on tone and found stacking can be a challenge (or at least takes more time to dial in as I relearn the other drive pedals and how it all interacts).

Thanks! I’m using the THDI as clean only, no AGS.

I played around with the Curmudgeon for an hour or so the other day until I needed to rearrange my board. My initial thoughts are that it can do some MDB-1/2 tones or obliterate your face! The Curm/MBD low gain distortions with depth switch down/depth knob fully CCW are somewhat similar. The Curmudgeon really differs when cranking the gain and/or putting the depth switch in the up position. When the switch is up it's like putting the depth knob on the MBD to level 20 or spinning the knob at least two times... Ha. It adds an insane amount of heft/booty/low end and it's awesome! It also has a ton of gain on tap as well! It's a fun pedal. I actually need to spend some more time with it!

Hmmm. Save board space, replace my MBD1 with the Curmudgeon...use that for my heavy distortion, and use my MBD2 for the lighter overdrive that I’m currently using the -1 for. Then I’ve got space for one more pedal (I need to get an SA C4 again, should never have sold the one I had).

Its massive. The mids are more up front than the MBD and with the Depth switch up its a different animal.

...I finally got to try the Curmudgeon 2 with my 5-strings and with a drummer. Felt wrong not to dime the Gain

I was excited about this one since it’s buzz and release. I just wasn’t sure if it was something I needed covered with all I have. After hearing @Andy westwood demo, I was sold. The gain range sounds wide and it also sound like it can get very clear, or crisp sounding. It sounds like it’s it’s own unique thing. But I’ll find out shortly. And I believe it’ll be a great addition. Hellz yes.
