One thing is for sure, I don’t think I can ever play without the bloop again. If I turn it off, everything sounds thin and puny. And I was happy with my overall tone before. Now, I’m extremely happy with it. This is great!

I have an MXR 5150 up in the classifieds, but I'm thinking of taking down the ad (for the second time) and picking up a Bloop to use with it...hrm. 5150 overdrive with low passed clean blend could be a pretty sweet combo.
@father of fires the bloop sends the full frequency signal to whatever is in the loop, correct? It's not highpassed?
Mind sharing the frequency the clean signal is low passed at?Correct.

@father of fires thanks for the thorough explanation a few pages back. Love the ideas and discoveries that you guys are having with this “simple” utility pedal!
I have two ideas for this pedal... first is a more descriptive name/acronym that will help it stand out from the “normal” blend pedals, which will help with the “why is this special and $3 more?” crowd. My thought was Something like LPB1 (Low Pass Bloop) or something in the same vein as the MBD1 that it’s based on. Maybe even label the knob as “Clean” and swap the turn polarity to be more like the MBD?
Second idea is to add a switch for a different LPF on the clean, one that lets more lows pass through (less dubby). I’m thinking this would open up even more flexibility, tonal possibilities and maybe even open up the guitar market?
Yeah I’ve been talking myself out of a Contour Pre every day this week! Sorta proud of myself, to be honestYou guys should really stop posting about this pedal. It's making my wallet itchy.

So I was spending some time to try and get a demo done today and it took me while to get my interface to talk to audacity. Then I had issues uploading in stereo. Then I had to stop and do yard work. Gonna try and get something up here in a few.
I’m listening to that demo above in my car and that’s where you can really hear what the bloop is doing. After listening to that demo a few more times, my ears hear it. It’s like the bloop tubifys your signal. Makes it sound all warm and full. It’s so nice.
So nothing in the loop for the first few times right?
