After spending a few days with my MBD-1 all I can say is that I need to kick myself for waiting as long as I did to hop on the wagon. I've spent literally a decade looking for the grit in my head and always thought fuzz was the answer. Massive kudos to Jeff for showing me the error of my ways.

Oh okay. I was gonna say, the company my band used for our last album was super cheap and they put it on Spotify, Pandora, iTunes etc. I was just listening to it, it’s great man. Awesome bass tones. Really been digging it!
Tried out my MBD-1 at the first rehearsal of a new project I’ve started playing in. It’s blue eyed soul with a good dose of funk and jazz. Think Allen Stone meets Vulfpeck and The Roots.
Verdict? Worked brilliantly. Unity gain and bottom end retention on this thing is better than ANY distortion type pedal I’ve ever used. The band’s music director and keyboardist said that it was too high gain when I played it solo, but after hearing it in a mix he happily said “I was wrong about that distortion sound.”

Just bought it. I will listen to it on a flight tomorrow.
PS... I received the Bloop today, but won’t get to mess around with it until i get back to northern cali next weekend.
