Hey guys, i was just at my guitarists house, and he had gotten a new pedal. The daddy-o by danelectro. I noticed it had a bass control on it, so i asked him if i could try it out. He said "sure, why not".
So, putting my marshall guv'nor pedal (one of my secret weapons
) aside, i plugged it in, cranked the bass, and began trying out some settings. I got such a perfect tone. I got 2 sounds that i liked: A warm tube-like distortion, and a warm sounding grit that sounded perfect. I was amazed at how this thing reacted to the dynamics of my playing. As soon as i started playing it when i had the first tone dialed in, me and him looked at each-other and said, "Man, you (i said "I") gotta get one of these to use!". So i plan to buy one soon. Anyone else have any good experiences with these? Now that i found this bad boy, i'm going to setting aside the guv'nor every now and then, even though i absolutely love that thing to death.
