Yeah it's a condition he has where the messages between his brain and fingers get a bit muddled unless he has the glove on. As Fuzzbass mentioned, he has a video explaining it. I probably didn't get it totally right but that's the rough version.

It's called muscle dystonia and it apparently is not that rare among people who practice exhaustively.
When did he start doing drugs? I've enjoyed his earlier videos, but this one was so cracked out I couldn't watch it all the way through. Maybe he should've gone easier on that coffee he started the video with. I think he might've had more when he started editing.
I will say, the sounds I heard (as I scrolled through for the playing) were pretty good. I liked the Alpha tones better. I'd like to try playing with the blend.
Moral of the story: you don't have to feel guilty about spending time on TalkBass instead of practicing. You are "protecting your health".
I had a dream last night that I met Jon Stockman and proceeded to fanboy over him but he interrupted me to tell me my Talkbass posting was bad and really needed improvement. I told him I had bought an AO and he kind of rolled his eyes and told me I better not screw it up.

Did I read that right? 30mA. That seems like finding a plug would be impossible. Did they mean 300mA
? I think you might be a little mixed up here. 30mA current draw is pretty normal, 300mA would be quite a lot. My power supply only puts out 200mA to most of its plugs.
It's ok if the plug reads a higher mA, that just specifies what it's capable of, the pedal will only draw as much current as needed.
