Darkglass - Alpha Omega

Wait.
What?
They really want to get ALL my money!
Yup Doug knows how to hold the carrott. There's also a B7K Ultra V2 that has the IR loading and headphone out I believe. Not sure if they did it for the Vintage though .

Edit: Just B7K Ultra V2 no Vintage Ultra V2 yet. I also downloaded AO Ultra manual and cab SIM only works on XLR output which makes sense and wouldn't bother me but some might have liked it on the 1/4" output to run into effects loops or extra tone tweaking abilities. Such a killer pedal though my gosh!!

DUDE!!! I had no idea that the B7KU v2 had that IR loader. That makes me so jelly! I know I should wail longer when they release stuff, Doug is always improving upon stuff. But I just can't! I hate wait :spit:

Not having the cab sim affect the 1/4" out is a huge misstep in my opinion. It still looks like a great piece of kit, though.

I wouldn't call it quite a misstep. But I do agree, it would've been WAY cooler if it did. I mean, the main reason I want a cabsim is for the DI to the FOH. So to me it's not a huge deal it only effects the DI. I have enough tone shaping as it is.

So as expected the ultra looks great however, is anyone else annoyed by the shared eq still? The ir stuffs cool makes the di really usable( it is already imo)

But a headphone socket? I’m no really sure why that needs to be there!? Cue a load of questions in months to come of “ I got a great sound at home but thru my amp pedal sounds different”

I know darkglass are on here and it’s my opinion just seems extra thing for no real reason, love my alpha omega so kinda glad I dnt need to upgrade

Headphones out is really nice for "silent" playing at home (late night practicing). For me this is a great addition!
