Yeah, the Mod knob is not subtle at all: the Omega side has a WAY more midrange at hi gain levels.

Do you remember what your OmniCabSim settings are in that video? I always struggled pairing the A|O with it.
Legend. Thanks!
Legend. Thanks!
I was running my A|O and OCS like that in the past, but mids were getting out of control in my rig. If Doug does an A|O Ultra I'll probably end up getting it and giving A|O another swing.

This is from NAMM last year with @Darkglass on knob duty
Yep. There's the clip that pushed me into getting mine.
Just doing the lord's work![]()
I didn't know you worked for Mike Patton??
XD XD XD
Is the A/Os signal reduced using both balanced and main out?
Don't understand the question: the Balanced out sends a hotter signal than the 1/4" output does though
Are the main output and balanced output signals reduced when using both at the same time verses using them one at a time? Everything was set with compressor input etc. and hooking up an additional output seemed to lower the signal. It's no problem, I just cranked it up. I would think it would have to lower the signal though. It would be good to know when having everything tweaked with the correct critical compressor input signal, and then the sound guy wants to run a direct out that you would know you'd have to increase the output. I guess I could just run the compressor first!
Aside from a new Darkglass edition Dingwall NG3 bass.Any word on an Alpha Omega Ultra?![]()
