Darkglass Anagram Multi FX Announced

Does anyone know of a pedalboard thats similar to the Tres but half the width? I only need it to hold my Anagram and Mvave (with hopefully room underneath to hold a bettery pack).
No, but try this site: Pedal Playground

The trick to using that site is to first lay out your pedals as if you had the perfect board, look at the grid to determine the size required (the default grid is inches), then open up the JSON file containing the sizes of all them and ctrl+F to find something close to what you need: pedalplayground/public/data/pedalboards.json at master · PedalPlayground/pedalplayground

Thanks I didn't know about that site or some of the manufacturers they mention. Just grabbed a coffee and spent a bit of time playing with it. There are probably 5 options that are near to what I want. The best was a Creation Music Riser.....but at $130 I think I can manage without  The hunt continues........

Not an answer to your question, but just a thought...personally, if there were space available on a board that otherwise worked, I'd prefer to have the battery on top. Either way is workable, but given a choice, I see pluses to having the battery on top.

As I was unboxing and trying different things, this would have been the way I would have gone, but it was prior to the m-vave and the discovery that I'd be better off using separate batteries for the Anagram and NUX.

I love how easy it is to create patches with the Anagram! My old band covers "Closer" by Nine Inch Nails and I tried several different methods to get the bass synth effect, (all which fell short and was honestly a pain in the ass to play on a 5-string). With the Anagram, I used the pitch shift, filter, and I got the sound!
I've used various modelers over the years but the Anagram is by far the easiest to work with. Thanks Darkglass!

I'd love to hear how that sounds if you have any clips.

As I mentioned above, the maximum volume of the Anagram via XLR is lower than on other devices.
The same applies to the headphone output, the maximum volume is noticeably quieter than from an audio interface and even from a regular cheap phone using a USB-C to 3.5 mm adapter.

I use a Nux combo as a speaker (it's FRFR) with a 3.5 mm AUX input, and it doesn’t have a gain knob.
With all my other devices, the volume is sufficient. But with Anagram, it’s way too quiet.

Is it possible to increase the volume in the next firmware update?

How are you making your presets?

For reference, I need to add pretty much the same amount of Input Gain on my UAD Apollo Interface when using my Noble DI or Anagram.

It’s only lower if you have it dialed in to be lower. There’s enough potential gain on board to push virtually anything into clipping. Between the global mixer and the individual preset variables, the total output level is down to the user, not the device.

Thanks for asking for a clip Gogoplata1980! It forced me to learn how to record again and make a video clip. 😁 I just realized that the last time I did it was years ago.
This patch was made for a 4-string bass. Scene 1 is using the pitch effect to down-tune 4 steps and has the filter engaged. Scene 2 is with the pitch shift and filter off. If anyone wants to tweak the patch, please feel free to do so. I know I'm not the best at this kind of thing.

This right here and Silky Smoove and Ivan are spot on.
None of my presets require additional gain blocks and have more than enough volume at any output point. Also, as we’ve discussed several times on the subject of headphone out volume, it’s a simple tweak in device settings to raise the -10 default setting to 0 or +10. Many of the perceived gain issues can be resolved with a bit of time and familiarity on the operation of the Anagram.

Anahomies, I spent a good hour and a half or so with a delicious cup of coffee browsing the DG suite trying out the presets you lovely people upload to the webs and I couldn't help but notice that GYAAATT DAANG ya'll love you some BASS.

sheesh what happened to your anagram?

Personal choice. We didn't see eye to eye and we ask that you respect our privacy at this time.

This is the case even when I use one of the 48 factory presets. I have two other devices: the Valeton GP-5 and the Hotone Ampero Mini, and both are louder.
Anagram is also louder through the 1/4" jack than through XLR, but still not as loud as other my devices.

And when I compare the 3.5 mm headphone output, I tested it against a regular cheap Xiaomi phone, and the phone is also significantly louder.
