Darkglass Microtubes 900 Class D Amp

Lol that everybody is still confused and complaining about the lack of tubes.

If you've never heard or played them before, Darkglass pedals have a very specific tone. I'm sure this amp will deliver a very similar tone in an all-in-one package that players over in the FX forum have been wanting for years now.

Have you ever even tried a Darkglass pedal with one of your many tube amps?

The title of this thread clearly says "Class D Amp", So if you expected an all tube amp I dunno what to tell ya...

You do realize class D amps can have preamp tubes?

Pretty sure that's a typo and it'll be 250/1k/500. Will know for sure tomorrow though. First stop at NAMM....Darkglass!

I would imagine that it engages either the circuitry from the B3K or the Vintage Microtubes pedals.

My questions for whoever sees this guy at NAMM:

* What's the back look like?
* On the FB page, they said drive is footswitchable. Does it come with a footswitch? Any other footswitch functions, like mute?
* Speaking of mute, is there a mute switch on the back? And a tuner out? (Part of the appeal of this guy is to roll without pedals, so having no mute switch would kind of suck!)
* What's the low-passing like?
* What does the "Tone" knob do? Everything else maps as you'd expect to the B7K ultra, but Tone is new.

Do planet wave cables contain planets or its inhabitants?

Yea, I've owned a ton of amps with a "tube pre amp" usually a 12ax7 ... It's hogwash if the power section is still solid state.

Tone knob is probably a voicing control like the era on the VMTD.

my spector tone pump didn't contain a pump of any sort...

I was really looking forward to inflating my bike tyres as well and i cant drive to my local gas station to use the air pumps because its turns out my Mesa M6 didn't have an inbuilt BMW after all.

I beg to differ...my little SWR Spellbinder Blue combo is class D w/ a tube preamp, and is an absolute tone machine.
