Darkglass Microtubes 900 Class D Amp

For me it's between and Mesa Subway and this head. Just waiting to try this one before I make a decision.

Having played the DG prototype and looking at what people say about the Subway, halfway between a Carbine and a Walkabout (I normally play a Carbine and have tested the Walkabout, but not the Subway), I suspect that for me it is not one or the other, they are too different I think.

It is going to be DG+M9, not one or the other.

Im sure they are different animals, however I can only afford one. So in the end it'll depend on the usual observations, i.e. tone, overall volume, features, reliability, warranty etc etc.

It does. I asked the same question a few months back but it's been buried in this Thread.
I have been told it does. Hopefully our information is correct and I do believe it so. But the final product has not yet shipped and is always subject to being changed.

Doug replied to my question so I'm pretty certain it will
Cool! Yeah, I was pretty certain it would, but as a re-seller I had to hedge what I say as until a product actually ships the specifications are subject to change. But I do believe it to be an integrated type design with the footswitch being an integral aspect of the amplifier features.

I've been really thinking about this since I saw it when I woke up this morning. It looks like Doug's got the B7K Ultra pedal setup in an amp basically. It looks like there's 2 sides (like the pedals). The 4 band EQ with new switches for the mids (B7KU), and a Master Volume control on the right side... I'm assuming the Gain is part of the EQ

The left side is like the distortion setup of the pedals with the Level/Blend/Drive and Tone. That tone is what I'm trying to figure out. the B3K/VMT switch is pure money. I can't make out the switch on the left.

For me, this may have some uses. I run a GK MB800 Fusion so I've got tons of power in a 1U rack space. Most of my default tone goes between a Clean drive B7K and a Dirty B3K cranked up. This amp has the potential of eliminating all of my pedals that define my overdrive, leaving just effects on my pedalboard.
This is really a tough call. If I didn't have a Darkglass setup on the floor this amp would be a no brainer... But this really makes me analyze if I want to simplify or not. Either way, SCREW YOU DOUG! Lol
I am glad that I held out on the B7KU now. But I think I still may have this amp by the end of the year.

In a year or so I'll be getting a Fusion 800 to replace my 700rb and I can't friggin wait.

I'd hang onto it bro. Personally, just a few weeks back I got a Pike Vulcan XL and its blown my B7K away. No contest just such an amazing pedal. Darkglass are too compressed for mine, and given you're a fan of tube tone, don't do away with it for the clang of the Darkglass. I think you might be just GASing for it. Try a Vulcan XL before you go full Darkglass with the class d.

(curious if there will be accessories that racks the amp
I believe I saw a post by Doug where he said rack ears were not initial availability but were coming later, but I can't remember if it was on this thread or where.
