Darkglass Vintage Deluxe!

So did you all see the faecbook post from Darkglass about Namm? Got a sweet pic of the upcoming (well kept secret) of the vintage deluxe! I love the regular vintage, but having the added stuff may be worth the coin!
Whatcha think?

I'm all in. I tweeted Doug last week about it and he said it would be coming soon. I hope that means 6 months or less. I thought the regular vintage was missing some midrange definition/ bite and the EQ options with the ERA knob should be quite nice. Count me in.

Here's a pic. It looks like 4 eq knobs like the b7k and the same output options, but only 3 other knobs. So which knobs missing? The era?

Nice to see you also changed the 4-band EQ knob layout on the B7K, Doug. Those mids controls after the treble knob always bugged me! Haha
But that didn't make the B7K less awesome anyway. In March I'm staying a week in the States buying a few stuff and Darkglass'd better wait for me :bassist:

So Doug, I don't suppose I can send funds via Paypal for the one on your NAMM demo board......ha ha

Haha I'm afraid you'll have to wait until they hit the stores ;).
In which case do not worry, won't be a matter of 6 months or anything like that. More like a few weeks after NAMM (contact your usual dealer for an estimated shipping date).

Excellent! Haha yeah, we had to do it, it was long due.

Regards,
Doug.

I think it's a bit premature to ask but... around which frequencies are centered the new controls Bass, Mid and Treble?

Not premature at all my friend... but it is a bit disingenuous to know the frequencies without knowing how they interact with the specific circuit.
They are the ones we found to work best with the VMT circuit ;).

I love the VMT. The knobs are smooth, it looks great and the subtle tones are fun to play with when trying to match some of the old music. I have never liked strong or buzz saw effects. It is the only effect I keep out all the time other than the DBX160 in my studio.

I am excited to be able get the preamp similar to the B7K but with the VMT voice.
