Darkglass Vintage Deluxe!

Hi ,

I use a Bass driver DI as a pre amp and the B3K for overdrive .... i love that sound!!!!!

can anyone here lay down some differences between the BDDI and the B7K ?

other than the fact that it looks cooler

if you have some comparison audio samples... i would love to hear

Did you mean the Vintage Deluxe instead of B7K? If you have a BDDI and a B3K then you are already set to explore the differences. The B7K is a B3K with EQ and a balanced driver.

Not sure if you're talking to me but...

No, that's not what I'm saying at all. I'm just saying that the B3K and the B7K are the same OD...so since you own a B3K you should be able to compare it to the BDDI yourself unless you're specifically interested in what the EQ adds.

This thread is about the yet to be released Vintage (Microtubes) Deluxe.

Looks like the mid knob is centered just like the VT Bass. Interesting; I wonder how the Q width compares?

Yeah, it's a mistake. I'll let them know right away! The 4 bottom knobs are ERA+3 Band active EQ.

According to Bassefx specs, the EQ frequencies are identical to the B7K. I assume the character is going to come from the ERA knob? I preordered mine last week regardless.

Yeah. With the exchange and shipping it was no cheaper getting it out of the US unlike in the past, so I figured I might as well. It may even get here sooner.

That's a good question!

I still don't know if I can attend. We won't be having a booth that's for sure but I'm trying to attend as a visitor anyways. If I do I'll let you guys know in case anyone wants to meet up!
