Chi-Sonics are offered in both humbucking and single coil configurations.

I think it would be fantastic if down the road all of the new Dark Star-Hagstrom Bisonic imitators were tested on a test bed instrument the way Luknfur did in the Talkbass pickup forum
I'm still shopping around for my 69 Guild Starfire II which has had Bisonics, Alembic, and now EMG HB's installed. What is a good replacement for the HB sized slot? I could go the French Dark Star replacement, or chat with SGD and get his neo pickups, would be interested to see how the sound changes. I know he
makes pickups in the HB size, as does the new Lane Poor Legacy guy, any suggestions? I would love to mimic Edwin and put Series one alembic pickups and electronics, but that would be a challenge
