Date Your Pedulla Bass by Serial Number

Hello,

I usually lurk here and don't post anything unless something seriously annoys me, or if I have something particularly useful to contribute. As many are aware, Pedulla has now retired and is no longer making basses or offering repairs. Most of the website is no longer accessible, but the table of serial numbers and manufacture dates is still up, so I thought I would post it here before it too goes away.

I’ve had serious GAS for a Pedulla Rapture, so I just bought a *1997* (thanks to the OP) from a little shop in North Hollywood. I’ll post pics when I she gets here to San Diego.

It does say except some Series II.

Apparently there are only about 500 Series II. I have a 5. The neck profile is the same as the MVP5/ Pentabuzz.

I will check my Pentabuzz tomorrow, I believe mine is a 1994. A good year, and one I remember well!

I've never heard of Pedulla having better years than others. Their basic model platform was always so consistent, as were their basic materials. Is this actually a thing?

Thank you so much for posting! Both of my remaining Pedullas have serial numbers under 372. My EMS is much older than I thought.
