Why yes, I have one I bought new around 2005. I am very happy with it. Enough to have sold my dean acoustic/electric. The body on the stylist is thinner and it is just as loud unplugged. I had a shoulder injury at the time and this was less of a pain.

I shuffle my deans in and out of “currently hanging on the wall” status. The stylist has been in a case for the last year. Looks like I put it away dusty!

I am not the technical guy to ask questions of, but my brother who has been a professional bassist for 50+ years said that it was a “good” bass when I brought it to him to play.

I have had no issues with it. Just play.
About the only thing in my world that had been annoying would be the tendency to feedback under the loud circumstances which my band played and my closeness to my amp. That is normal with a hollow body.

It only cost about $275 new... I think it was a great price.

Did you notice its 1/4" jack on the back? I will have to do something about those knobs for sure. 200 bucks, heck I will keep it for parts if its a pile (not quite cheap enough to use for firewood) . I love these weird neck through basses (razor)

Is that an Edge 09? I never knew they made a silver. They're pretty good for the money. Modded mine out and it's my number one.

It appears to be, single soapbar pickup 4 string. Same styling as an 09. I am new to basses so I may be overlooking a model, but it sure looks to be an 09 edge

I had a set of fat beams that I wanted to put on my dean, but when I removed the first string from the envelope it was a good 4-5 inches longer than the original, what gives? Did I inadvertently order super long strings somehow?

This is a question posed to the group as a whole. Is there anyone in here now, who owns a Dean, and wants to be a member of this club, but doesn't have a number? I think we are all waiting for @B-Mac to return, but he got removed in October. Yes the circumstances as to why he's gone are unclear. Maybe he will return somehow, or not. I know he's still out there on Basschat u.k or whatever that is called. So moving forward we need to make some decisions. I'm not really volunteering to run the group, mainly because I run 1-2 other groups and because there are people in this group that got here before me. I'm just stating that I think the last thing that @B-Mac would want would be fore this group to fall apart. I'ts kinda died like 3 times, but it's done pretty well this last time after @B-Mac took it over. Thoughts?

I obviously need a number, but am still learning my way around the bass and talk bass
I reached out to @B-Mac, the admin here, via the other website he's on, and once we figure out the future of the group, you'll get a number. I believe that you are not the only person here who doesn't have a number. @Jimbowhit7, @58kites and @Ric5, you were here before me. Any input on current affairs? I'm sure there are other active members who have been here longer than I, but those 3 are the ones I remembered of the top of my head.
