So you buy a cranberry bass on thanksgiving? Very cool bass. I get my razor Tuesday along with some new pick ups and my first set of DR sunbeams. Shipping is slow this time of year. Looks like we both are going to have a great holiday. Enjoy!
Thanks, I was reading about the Razor bass this morning (1am) and decided I try one , The furst one I saw online got sold and saw this one and got it, Didn't know the color name was called "cranberry" , I'll have to look for the original Razor catalog page , Another impulse buy I'll add to my instrument stock pile , Enjoy yours too ...

Awaiting arrival of this Dean Razor NT I found online, my 3rd Dean bass , Last month I got my first 2 Dean basses, a Hillsboro J in Trans Blue & white Hillsboro single , great basses that were like new and cheap tooView attachment 3612087 View attachment 3612088
I think you are going to like the razor nt best of all over time...
Would like to hear your impressions once you get into it.

I had a Dean Edge 5-string back in the early 00's that was a very good bass for the money. It was my main bass for many gigs. I set the action as low as I could get it without strings buzzing... it was smooth as butter and had great tone. Ended up selling it on eBay... wish I still had it. Dean is underrated. They make good basses. I also had the Dean Rhapsody 12-string for a while and used it for Drop D sets... and later on strung it Bbb-Eee-Aaa-Ddd for recording originals. Sounded great and powerful, only drawback... it was heavy.

Nice pick-up Stan. Maybe just needs a bit of fret dressing. But you had me thinking so I just took a look at mine. The four string I bought new. Yet it had been hidden away for years before I got it. Frets are new. I've not played it extensively. Five string shows the slightest amount of fret wear. I bought it used and have played it a bunch. Barely perceivable around 5th fret area. Lots of life before she'll need attention.
