+1 I didn't know dean made such nice basses. My first 5 banger was a Dean edge Q5 and man that thing had the nicest tone. I couldn't get use to the 5 string so I sold it off.
Hi everyone! talkbass noob here looking for other dean owners and then...I found you guys! MY current bass is my first Dean and I effing love it. I gots me a Zone XM (with my buddy's employee discount) for a way too cheap to pass up price (I think it was like 79 bucks or something). I'm really glad I scooped this one up. Great neck, awesome tone, and sturdy as hell. So, for your consideration, Rictor 66 and Eddie Brock (yes, I name my guitars) in action:

Sledgehammer 5
After buying and selling maybe 5 basses in the last year, this is definitely the one! It's a keeper.

Older edge (I think, the head stock is different than most of the edges ive seen) I love it, Meaty big ass bottom sound with great High End. Cant go wrong for the money, and love the cutaway, The best access to upper frets that Ive found.

I got a slime green Custom Zone recently. I've posted a pic of it in a few other threads already---I'll wait till I get a pic of it in action to post here. I got it to play in an 80s cover band.
