Dear Fender

I like the concept of a 24 fret neck - because it forces the body shape to have a cutout to reach those frets, which reduces the weight of the bass.

I mean, I'm not going to play on those frets, but they do serve two purposes - one given already, and other is they're something to bounce the strings off of when I want clank.

Ill meet the OP halfway: a normal passive Boxer? No...but if they ever remade a 5 String Version of my active Power Jazz Special, I'd be all over it

I personally doubt Fender listens at all to their customers, maybe

If they didn’t, they would be out of business by now. No company is going to stay open if they are not making what customers want. Just look at the graveyard of instrument and amp companies that came and went.

Just because they don’t make what individual customers want they are making what most customers want.
