I love my fenders but so much this. Hundreds of options at dozens of price points many inspired by fender and probably doing fender "better" by many's standardsWhy wait for Fender when there are so many better 5/24 options available today.
P.S. Why are your signature models so ridiculously priced?
Speak for yourself, buddy.Dear Fender,
How about a 24 fret 5 string Boxer or Aerodyne.

I haven’t seen anyone opposed to it. I’ve only seen responses that say they have no need for one. I’m sure those respondents wouldn’t care if Fender decided to build them.I think it would be cool. I’m surprised to see how many people are vehemently opposed to it.
24 feet’s….hahaSpeak for yourself, buddy.
5-string player here. I try to avoid 24 feets.
Hahaha! I could edit it to fix. But I'm not gonna. I said what I said.24 feet’s….haha
The fretboard would go all the way to the neck pickup. A stingray that can't be slapped? My brain hurts.Musicman: how about a 24 fret, HS active/passive Stingray?

I doubt Fender's marketing department has a guy reading TB every day…
Only the smart manufacturers would monitor Talkbass.Every 5 string player except me
Do people who post these “Dear <insert company name>” threads ever contact the company in question? I doubt Fender's marketing department has a guy reading TB every day…
Dear Fender,
Improve your quality control and stop shipping out instruments with major flaws.
