Well, some people did. Unfortunately, not enough to keep selling the Jazz 24.There was a 24 fret Fender five string. No one wanted that one either.
The Fender website does have a contact page where you can post such suggestions. Maybe if everyone that wants one were to post all at once…. Nah, that makes too much sense…Dear Fender,

On most paid gigs, they don’t even want you moving beyond the fifth fretI’m totally fine with 20 frets.
I personally doubt Fender listens at all to their customers, maybeEvery 5 string player except me
Do people who post these “Dear <insert company name>” threads ever contact the company in question? I doubt Fender's marketing department has a guy reading TB every day…
Lovely and probably $4K past where I can afford to have one, especially as a hobby bassist.
