Describe a player in one word.

I don't listen to nearly enough King's X to understand what this is referring to, but since "peristalsis" has been one of my favorite words since 9th grade Biology class (especially in the context of "reverse peristalsis") I'm dying to know what the bass playing connection is!

I’ve seen Kings X twice, and at both shows he had variations of his giant “semi bi-amp” rig, with a couple of racked Ampeg heads driving 810 cabs and the upper mids and highs distorted through a guitar amp head driving a guitar 4 x 12 cab. The live effect was rumble and sizzle, made you feel like your internal organs were being rearranged for you, but in a way that worked well in the mix.
