You know, with Brad you just never know when he's packin

So I say sneek up behind him :ninja:

That is true---

I'll just use my super-duper ninja skills on him:ninja:

Or, we make it like Old Skool. I'll bring the big black van. We'll just nab him while he's loading groceries at the supermarket :D

Hey Ty,
I jumped over here from that other thread. Way more interesting. I don't know how I missed this - the sticky at the very top of the page! Doh!
Unfortunately (depending on who you are; ask my wife and you'll get a different story), that's the weekend I'm headed the opposite direction toward the coast.
I know ya'll are going to have a blast! I'll have to catch the next one. This'll give me an opportunity to work with the new bass, too though. :bassist:

Hey Pete----we need some directions posted in here!!! :D

http://maps.yahoo.com/maps_result?e...le,+TX+75057-4400&country=us&new=1&name=&qty=

Hope that helps.

*Basically (for all points Texas) get on I-35 towards Dallas
*Go north beyond Dallas
*Take the BUSINESS 121 exit (DON"T take the Hwy 121 exit)
*Take a right so you're now headed north on Business 121
*You will go over some railroad tracks
*Look for 1047 E. Hwy. 121 Unit D3 (it'll be on your left)

Pete, anything else you want to add?

That's definitely easy enough. Approximately how far north on B121 is it?

*Uncontrollable sobbing* :bawl:

Shame:( Maybe it'll work out after all, but if it doesn't, you'll definitely have to catch the next one!

I don't have time to wade through the mega-thread here, but if someone will email me the time/date/location, I"d be glad to see if I can make it.

Got some Bongos, a CS Jazz and mebbe a Houser Fish I could bring along for fun and games......

[email protected]

Drop me a line!

Jack

Bongos? You do mean basses, right? I'll send the PM as long as you ain't bringin no stinkin drums ;)

Hey, I got drums, but you'd be hard pressed to get me to load 'em up (unless you look a lot like Demi Moore or something).

I have three Bongos at present. Prolly will remain three through Sept....one's on order.

Aww, I missed this thing last year. I don't remember what my excuse was then. But I remember reading about it and looking at the pics and seeing what I missed. All those great basses in one place, including many I've wanted to try and never had the chance plus some I'd never heard of. I promised myself I'd hit the next one.

But . . .
I'm moving to San Diego. I start my new job on August 2. I really don't see any way I could do this. Thanks for the PM with the heads-up. There is an outside chance that my start date could get pushed back to August 9. If that happens, I'll see if there's some way I can fit a trip to Dallas in there. I'd really love to meet you people and put faces with names. And I always enjoy listening to good musicians and talking gear. I haven't had a chance to play hardly at all lately, so my bass playing probably wouldn't impress anyone, lol. But I bet it would still be a lot of fun.
