as we write that dress is in the garage out-gassing it's 6th coat of high-end oil varnish. the fumes of which have finally forced me to consider safer alternatives.

For the amount of money an experienced luthier would charge to attempt this, I would get a Gold Tone ABG for teaching and save the Ibanez for pure enjoyment.

I've played a Gold Tone. It was pretty meh. Maybe with the Taylor strings...
