It takes a few seconds to really kick in, but some parts sync up so awesome.

I find EBS too dark sounding to get his sound. I hate recommending the same stuff like a fanboy, but I can get great drive with a lot of attack from the B3K.

Palm muting depends entirely on what you do with your palm, not what amp you use. If you mean you want feedback, any amp can feed back depending on how you use it--and any high-gain distortion pedal will help you get there.

I have the ashdown james lomenzo pedal and i can't get a good palm mute out of it?

EDIT - It sounds like im playing with my fingers on the string not holding it down

So, you want the "chugga chugga" chunky sound of palm muted, heavily distorted guitars? It is not easy to get that sound on bass, but you at least need a pedal with lots of gain. I'm not sure if the B3K works for that (never tried it).

I plugged my bass into the school's guitar amp use the R-riffer setting and got reallly near the dick's sound
I'll try the EBS metal-drive at musos Corner soon see if i can get something close

they diden't have it in stock so i'm ordering it

Edit: so i have it and a Ashdown hyper drive when i run them together i get a Djnety sound only with the lows still intact i'm going to get a noise gate to complete the sound.
