Blue is cool - I recovered my SWR 2x10 in baby blue tolex - don't care much about the resale value because I'm so into the sound of it, and I'm pretty sure it's the only one on the planet that looks like this. It looks wicked atop my Orange 15" too.

Funny, I have those exact cabs.

I never hesitated when picking the blue. Great sounding as a stack or individually standing alone. I am however thinking of selling them and going with a pair of single 12"s.

Sweet stack! I know this thread is pretty old, but I'm curious why you wanted to switch to 2 112's? I'm looking at getting a pair of blue 210's but also considering a pair of 112's..

If you want to prevent yourself from selling something in the future, do an uber customized job or color.

Most people are off-put by strange, loud colors on something if they are purchasing it used. A lot of times it can be just preference or something that don't feel like working around. Who knows? Their BL or whoever might be like "Uhhh, blue cabs? I don't think so, make them black or play something else". I'm looking at condos and see some cheap ones that have SALMON PINK WALLS...no thank you, black leather couches are not going to mesh well with that :p

Well, right now the only cabs I have are black, and the one I'll be buying eventually will also be black, so I'm not sure I can really have a "say" here. However, with that said, I wouldn't put much weight into it. I rarely think about resell value when buying anything - I just assume that once I spend the money, it's gone and I won't see a penny back ever.

Not a bass rig, but I have been keeping my eye open for a Fender blues Jr or something of that size for Guitar - and I ran across a deeply discounted one that was purple with a tan grill. Deeply discounted. But purple.

I couldn't do it. I just couldn't. Too... Purple. Just about anything else I could have lived with. I guess that's why the discount, eh?
