I read a post from Sheldon in the dingwall forum awhile back about how you can treat the high moms control on the time capsule almost like a passive tone control. Cutting it a bit really tames the sound and takes away some brittleness and clank the same way rolling back a passive tone would. I tried it out and it works great. I wasn't sure what to do with this high mid until looking at it this way. The bass control on the tone capsule is a beast and sounds amazing with a slight boost.
"High Moms" is both the name of my new solo project as well as the groupie demographic I'm trying to cultivate.
Yep, perhaps I should have bought the Super P is was initially interested in!
