Dingwall Owners Club

Hey guys

Just a heads up. I’m gonna post my white NG3 as soon as I have time.

I bought it as a “take to gigs bass” instead of a Z but the sad reality is I need a band first....

I think getting a stitching machine for the leatherworking biz makes more sense then hanging another bass on the wall
Especially one that is designed to be a workhorse.

I’ll be posting for $2100 CAD bottom price I’m thinking. + shipping

Great PIC!! I would love to snag the NG. But I can't right now. :spit::poop::rage::crying:

Oh, and I would love to see you get the stitching machine just out of my own personal interests. :smug:;)

You are totally sick with Dingwall fever, ain'tcha? Lol! The Combustions and NGs are phenomenal basses and worthy additions to anyone's arsenal, but once you get your hands on an AB, a Z, or a Super, its game over. The only reason I left Dingwall was due to injury. I'm all healed and I have 4 Afterburners on order and I'm contemplating the next order-Z3/5, Z3/6, or a Custom SJ-5 3X, lmao!

Dang, sorry to hear that. Good luck with the sale, I can't imagine it sticking around long at that price., but things seemed to have slowed down a smidge.

Thanks man. It’s all good. I’m actively seeking new musicians. Maybe I shot myself in the foot resigning from my old thrash band but my heart wasn’t in it (mainly the genre) and the other project I was in just wasn’t meant to be.... the good new IMO is that if I want to use the music from it I sure the F will as I wrote a good chunk of it.

That said, I am gonna meet a guitarist on wed and if that doesn’t work out I’ll continue to actively search for band mates in this super lame scene here.

I’m not stressed as it’s really given me time to focus on learning too.

Cross sections. Maple vs. Wenge.

Oh yeah. I've been assimilated completely.

My thoughts are keep saving and snag up a used super P.
The medium scale dingwalls do not disappoint. Sure it’s a price increase but as you know anything Canadian made is worth it. If your not needing the p tone specifically maybe hold out for a super PJ/JP?

And the medium scale is always a pleasure to pick up after playing the long scale.(coming from a long scale player)
Oh, I know. I started on a Super P, after all. We'll see what happens in the future.

With all the temptation you’ve got listed right now I’d imagine you’ll be recovering some of those funds fairly quick!
Glad I’m focussed...... currently (and about as focussed as a broker headlight can be.)

I know its blasphemy, but, I've also got a fretless F Bass on order...at least I'm keeping it in Canada!

Fretless Dingwalls look like they're amazing and more work than my brain is capable of, lol!

Just to hip everyone to things...I've now been playing the NG3 since January. I've also been in the studio with it and the feedback from producers/engineers/band personnel is that they like the sound of it best and is most preferred of all the Dingwalls I've played with over the years.
