Hey DW,
currently juggling a Z build but i've noticed that with the boom of DW popularity, especially with the NG's, are DW basses value appreciating? I see a lot of online sellers asking more for a used NG than a listed new one? I would guess that since production times, especially for canadian made, has double from 8 months to 18 months.

just pondering...

As a person that has bought and sold a few Dingwalls, yes the used prices have been climbing for the last couple years. Really though, it is because the new prices rose (along with the demand for Dingwalls). It is not unheard of for a used Dingwall to sell for more than it did new (depending on the age, of course.)

Looks like a Wenge neck and pick guard to me. I’d say Canadian built.

You are correct! Wenge Neck and pickguard plus Luminlay side dots.

@xnewyorka - Thanks! Not sure of the weight yet, I will do a quick and dirty weigh in on my bathroom scale today and report back.

I love my 6 string AB2 (all walnut) pic attached, just because. I like having a 4 string Dingwall for Rock n Roll! It is such a fast playing bass.

I believe the will fit the Super series. Don’t know about the long scale Dingwalls.

The neck profiles are pretty different but the main differences are that the Walnut neck is smooth and I can subtly feel the grain of the Wenge. I really like them both and as of now, I don’t really prefer one over the other. They are very different basses but obviously both are top notch in regards to quality. I haven’t compared the basses really yet.
