I bought my ABZ5 from these guys a few months ago. At the time, they had an ABZ4. Looks like they currently have 2 flavors of J4 available.

Bass San Diego is a great place to work with. I have been pleased with the attention to detail and customer service. I bought my Z3-5 and some other things from them. The was a nice SJ4 there last I looked.

No particular interest in a Combustion 4 from me at this time. Though, I can see there could be market potential.

Round the Seattle area here I know at least 100 or so bassist friends who have all asked if the combustion could be had as a 4 string. I'd snatch one up in a heartbeat!!

I'm shocked Bass Northwest doesn't have something in a 4 string.

Only on the bluest of blue moons. They had a sweet afterburner 4 once...that was about the only time I recall.

I'm going to try to come down from LA for the Monday bash. Is there going to be any more formal talk at a specific time, or is it more just hanging out for three hours answering questions as people come and go?

I asked about this long ago, but it was too soon. My interest in the C4 has since diminished because I have a 4 string AB on the way, but why not. I'll buy a C4. too.

That's a cool bass, with a different shape and bridge than most AB's.

Looks more like a Z.

Set on a four string? Any interest in the fives or sixes?

I found, once I sucked it up and spent a couple months with a fiver, I am now lost without a B string. And the vision blurring low notes!

The sixer, now there are still too many grey areas on that for public consumption, but for playing chords and harmony stuff, it's a hoot. It's one very big bass.

Well...I've had fives and sixes....even a few seven string basses, I just really prefer the good ol standard four. Am I missing out on some potential awesome? Probably, but I am just stuck on wanting a four right now.
