All my supers are like that to some extent, I think it's just a result of the way the cast them.
I had to run over and check my 2011 Super J. The bottom of every knob appears to stay perfectly level with the top of the bass when rotated, so it's not a rule. My Z2 has a tiny bit of variance along the bottom of the knobs, but the posts are all at right angles with the body, and it takes a very, very close look (<12") and attention to the micrometer-level variance to notice it. This appears to be due to the knob casting and trimming mentioned in the video and not anything to do with the mounting, which seems to be @Snowglo's issue. Sheldon may chime in on this one, as it seems very odd.
Now, I do have a Steinberger Q4 with a bent volume knob that wobbles when you turn it, but that's the doing of the older child.
