Having had many Euros and USA Spectors - (the Euro's are incredible btw)..I would say you would get along well with any of the Import models - they would be of similar QC and hardware/woods.
Getting into the Canadian models would be like getting into the USA NS2 highest optioned out Spector's - in comparison to the Euro's.
Always good to get your feet wet on a $3K bass than a $7K bass IMO...

I'm waiting for an import Super J (coming from a Spector)

What are the specs for the NG tuners? I want black hipshots but I'm unsure what to order.

My Payson bridge came in the other day, I'll likely wait and do the tuners are the same time.

From what I understand they are the Licensed by Hipshot import tuners in 3/8" size. I have some headed to my house for my Combustion. When they arrive I can confirm.

Also....anyone have pix of their 4 string Super PJ's kickin around? I may be about to do something crazy...thinkin about maple board.....

To you current one or custom order? If the later you might wanna hold off ‘til the import supers get announced which should be soonish
would be adding it to my other Super pj4…. After seeing these pics, I may be open to other fret board woods now hahaha…..it’s a sickness I think.
Sure do love wenge as well…..what I have been holding off for, was a Darkglass active/passive Super PJ….maybe it’ll never happen.
thanks guys…all the best in the holiday season

Almost 23 years strong! Seems like a really well maintained instrument, well done

Is it possible to rewire an NG3 so that the 2nd pickup mode is the Bridge and Middle pickup in parralell instead of series as it is stock?
And in that case what wires do I need to move around?
I asked this question a couple years ago and the direction at the time was that a new switch would be needed. I ended up getting a 6-way switch from Mo that included that combination. It’s still my go-to setting on most live dates.

Hey guys

I'm not sure if this has been talked about before but I couldn't find it.

Thanks

As above you need a new switch, either the D-roc switch which loses some options or a custom 6 way switch which opens up a bunch of alternatives.
