What about a felt marker or a paint pen? You might have to do touch-ups now and then if it rubs off, but it might work.
Pretty sure the guy with the gold pickups painted them, it’s definitely an option.
@wavemaker you could probably do it with plastidip which would be similar to a wrap but you have less colour options
I agree. The stoke is very high for this one.Cool! The world needs more shell pink Dingwalls in it.

I had the good fortune of seeing Lyle Lovett and His Large Band perform at the 1894 Grand Opera House in Galveston, TX Tuesday evening. I was pumped when I found out the rhythm section was the legendary duo of Leeland Sklar and Russ Kunkell. The band had 15 performers including two from the Muscle Shoals horns, jazz professors on sax, a trio of tight backing vocals, guitar, mandolin/acoustic, pedal steel, fiddle, and piano. Every one of them was such a talented pro. The opera house has great acoustics and we had good center section seats in the 5th row back. They put on a 2 1/2 hour performance with so many moods, musical styles, and inspiring solos woven together with interesting stories and humor. The evening was memorable.
Leeland was playing his gold signature Dingwall and one of the few who didn’t take a solo, but he didn’t need to. I love his approach to the bass. His playing was so solid and tasteful, with great grooves, spot on dynamics, and excellent tone. The sound was very well balanced so you could hear the nuances of every player. It would have made a great live recording.
Only problem is now I’m thinking of upgrading my D-ROC 5 Custom order to a Sklar. It was that good.

I've owned a Prima 5 and I would say that amongst the current line-up, I would probably be most interested in the Sklar. It is an amazing bass, as are all of the Canadian models, but I think that the design of that bass is truly where the Dingwall philosophy comes together as perfection. IMO, of course.
