Dingwall Owners Club

So the saga continues... The NG-2 that was supposed to be delivered yesterday, got bumped to today and now didn't get delivered because the suite number wasn't on it. First time that happened. So I have to go to the UPS hub after work and wait for the driver. Wow! At this rate it will be on the classified next week... :banghead:
Well jeepers creepers friend.

Don't blame the bass.

Hopefully you receive it in perfect order and want to keep it out of the classifieds forever!!!

It sucks when some negligence steps on your excitement.
Don't let that tarnish the dingwall experience though!!! ;)

Don't worry I won't!! It has arrived!!! Holy cow this bass is awesome!! Of course I was kidding when I said this would be in the classifieds. Thanks again to Drew for the heads up and Jong at Jive Sound for the great deal!! Now time to get used to the fanned frets for this weekends shows.

As they say no pics no proof.....

What compression pedals have you guys been using lately?

Keeley Bassist. Simple, small, sounds great!

Keeley Pro. More control than the Bassist. I prefer it but only when I have the space for it. It's very similar to my Empress, which I use a bunch as well.

Darkglass Super Symmetry. Awesome for more of a vintage vibe. I don't use it for slap, but it does a fantastic and pleasant squish.

I may try my Accountant this weekend.

I have a Cali76-TX and a few others as well.

Compressore

This may have been a misplaced query, since it's way off topic, and probably should be moved to Effects in any event. Of course, I'll take this opportunity of playing thread police (I'm certainly no Mod) to second the Empress. Total hypocrite. Don't do what I do, son. :rollno:

Is it off topic? A Dingwall owner would like to know what other Dingwall owners use for compression. Why would I ask a guy who owns a Toyota truck what fuel he uses when I drive a Lamborghini???

I have always used compression for pro sound but absolutely hate personally using it for bass as for me it destroys the very dynamics I use for my sound. But if I had to use it I would use the internal one in my Bamp and use it sparingly. I did try that out with a NG2.
