Nice review, Cameron. I think you may have the first ABZ 6 to be built. I emailed Barry about 10 months ago to price one, and was told they hadn't produced any yet. I recently relocated halfway across the country, which put a severe damper on the 'Dingwall fund', so congrats. Seeing yours only further whets my appetite. More vids, too, please!

Rollerberg 200000000 - the only negative i've heard about the rolling SKB gig bag holders is that sometimes the flight people that open up bags don't latch it properly afterwards. have you ever had to deal with that?

That is a distinct possibility. It is awkward and difficult to mate the two halves and clasp them properly. I've often described it as a monkey trying to hump a football, you get the picture.

For flights I would not use this case unless you went to one of those kiosks who shrink wrap your luggage. Even then, if I were flying alot I would invest in an expensive custom flight case.

this is a little OT for this thread, but you guys that DO fly a lot, do you end up taking multiple basses? i always bring a backup to gigs, but i dunno if i would do that if i was flying a lot.

LOVE this thing. i had the guitar tech, Stephen White (AWESOME individual. i want to be him when i grow up) install a killswitch between the Tone and Pickup knobs.

also, this thing is so meaty in it's tone and articulate that i can take the Aggy TLC off of my board that i was just using to keep the punch whilst tapping. don't need it anymore.

lol. yeah, it's his fault i have a Dinger. he's the first person that extolled their virtues and explained the benefits of a fanned fret system to me.
