Cool! But that's actually bigger than the standard old 1590b. And it seems like it would be tough to build in since you have to put everything in, ship-in-a-bottle style. What's your experience been so far with them?
2 x 2N3904 for Q1 and Q2?
These are Radio Shack trannies, not exactly exotic.
I am very surprised that they sell this puppy for $300+.
Even for a boutique, hand soldered, individually tested pedal, it does not quite make sense.
Well, it's not a Big Muff tone stack. Big Muff pans between HPF and LPF. There's no HPF in the WM tone stack. It pans between an HPF RC filter and just a series resistance to keep levels the same across the dial.
I have made a Hansen DI box http://www.hansenaudio.se/Active DI box 1975.jpg

What is a bass amuser?
My German is a bit rusty.

I had to take a break. Staring at those resistor stripe bands is making me insane. I got two more resistors then, the caps. I even think I'm doing it right!

Oh man I am color blind, I cannot see green unless it's like lime green so trust me, unless you are color blind, you should not complain.
I have all my resistors in a plastic container with compartments with the values written. I use an ohm meter to be sure.
And I have readers with huge magnification when I solder, by the way. You can pick them for cheap at Walgreen's, make sure you don't use them casually, you could damage your sight.
