im guessing "soon"is somewhere between "waiting for modulus to fold" and "waiting for the new brutes to come out".![]()
If you're referring to the new single cut Brutes, they've been out since Sept.

yeah, and the thread waiting for them went on for page after page, same is true for the modulus is closed thread.
If you notice that when most bass and bass amp companies announce due dates for product releases they rarely meet those dates.
don't misunderstand, i'm not hating on dlb... my comment was (translation) "you haven't figured out by now these guys never (practically never) make their release dates. couple that with the often sketchy or at a minimum translated/filtered information found here and the answer is 'you'll see it when you see it'".
honestly i expect that's what munji was getting at as well, but maybe not.
Hopefully no one steals his designs before he gets to market
I think this will qualify as news... Dan finally got the samples he was waiting on and is happy with the necks.
Aaaaaand....I made the payment for my JO! Fiesta Red, matching headstock.
To answer the first question, no, I don't have a delivery date.
Another new feature, Dan said that the bass will have a truss wheel adjust. Personally, that's a big plus!
I don't get why each and every builder doesn't use truss wheels.

It should be a law.
Dan Lakin will be at NAMM next week and he will have a J and a P bass at the Epifani bass amp booth.
