The first two and a half years were pretty horrible, but the last three and a half were pretty good on balance. Especially my final year... I did well enough in 5th year to be able to do what I wanted in 6th, and I came to an arrangement with my guidance techer that basically meant I could ignore a lot of pointless rules since they had no bearing on my work :)

This last week has been the worst for me in my entire high school career.

I'm done with this place. I can't stand it. I have one real friend. All of the rest merely talk to me because they like it when I give them help with homework. When I come to them for help, though? When I need some support? Someone to talk to? They all bolt. I have one person who actually gives a crap about me. He's the only friend I've had that truly cares about me and is willing to lend a hand. The rest? I'm done with them. They're meaningless to me now.

College is my only saving grace, but it's still a year and a half away. I don't know how I can endure any more of this. I'm at the point where I just don't want to go anymore. I don't want to put up with this. I don't want to have to face this every single day.

I honestly wish I could say I'm overreacting, or just being emo. But I'm not. This is what I have had to put up with every day since the first time I walked in those front doors. This is what I carry around with me.

For the record, I'm NOT suicidal. The best revenge is living well, not living six feet under.

I hated high school, but loved my high school years. In all fairness, I think what I hated was MY high school. Tiny little backwater town with small-minded, bigoted people. Ugh! I'm so glad to be out of there. I think I would've done much better in school had I been somewhere that had teachers who actually cared.

If I could change something, I would probably just have worked harder and played the game while I was there. I was pretty lazy and partied way too much. I did have a ton of fun though.

Damn most of high school. Too many social cliques so it's not easy to do something after school. Even though i have a good number of friends doing something with them out of school is a pain because they live further away from me and always busy. Too many a$$holes, girls/boys ratio is too low and a lot of the girls are too stuck up. Getting into a band is a hassle because of the limited amount of people who are willing to start one and when one does start they will obviously pick the better bassist (out of the three known bassists in my grade i am the least skilled). So basically the only good time i get out of it is talking about stupid stuff with my friends at lunch and between classes, rugby and the fact that i know i only have a year and half left of it.

Hey but at least their is the comforting fact that at your highs school reunion you get to see how far the dumb a$$holes gone in their lives so then i can start talking bad about them.

I hated high school my first two years

I LOVED it my last two , of course I was stoned( pot and only pot ) my last two and had discovered girls ,literally.

BTW , I don't get stoned anymore. Get stoned or keep family ,freedom and good job . had to make a decision.

Still like females though.

I'm in my senior year now. Its pretty damn easy seeing as how I'm in the band hall half the day. Band is the only class i care about, and the only teachers I really respect are the directors, so I help them out and try to help out the rest of the program. Yup, Big band nerd here.

English my senior year is pretty much a joke. My Government AP class seems good so far. I think I'm the only one in my class who has any idea about politics
