do I need some sort of EQ for my rig?

So I have an ampeg classic svt sitting on and 8x10 cab. I have a good pedal board set up and the only thing left to get is some sort of eq pedal...or not. I'm looking at a mooer micro eq or one of those mxr 10 band eqs. any thoughts?

1. What are you hoping to do with an EQ pedal that your Ampeg pre-amp doesn't do?
2. Sounds like an impressive rig... Attaching a Mooer, or even an MXR to it almost sounds like an insult At least go a little bit up-market (Empress ParaEQ, Source-Audio Programmable EQ, etc)
