If ya buy and sell music equipment, it's all part of doing business. Sometimes I've even paid exactly the listed price, but other times I'll show interest to buy won't commit. On two differant deals, the seller has pursued ME with a lower offer after not being able to sell it. I got a nice, flawless '06 USA Telecaster that way.(400USD)
 
Why yes I do. It's simultaneously sets the price point at a nice low figure to start negotiations and also lets the seller know that I'm a little bit crazy so he/she better not mess with me and give me whats I want.
