Do my eyes deceive me?!?!? Brubaker Brute in SINGLECUT??

Go to my channel on YouTube, TRICHARDSMUSIC, for many, many more vids of the single cuts.

Nice. I sure would like to hear the bass in a more controlled environment. Hearing anything either recorded or in person at NAMM doesn't give you a true idea of what the instruments sound like.

I really wish I had played this one at NAMM...still kicking myself.

Here's a question for either you or Brad...what is the neck profile (front to back) on the new SC? I am assuming it's thin and fast...am I correct?

Kevin at no Treb got the colors confused with the new double cut colors. If you go to my Facebook page all the colors are shown in my Brubaker album.

NATW42 , i will have the single cut with me at the Brookdale Guitar Show this Sunday for everyone to try.

I would like to know how the tension on that B string is. Is it Nordy 34.5 tight or Lakland 35 tight or just average to below average fender tight? Any body who has played one please chime in.

I'd say it's good tight, as it's definitely Brubaker 34.5 tight. I think Kevin walker comments about the b in one of the vids on the YouTube channel.

Crap, I'm tied up sunday. Is there a NJ GTG in the works? I know there was talks of one. The brute singlecut is high on my list of potential next basses, so I'd love to try one out.

I'm in NJ too... Love to try one of these Brutes!!!

Then come to the Brookdale Guitar Show, Brookdale Community College, Lincroft, NJ this Sunday between 10-5. Not only is this a great guitar show, with lots of vintage gear porn, but also lots of new stuff.

I am chairing a panel and round table discussion on the history of bass in NJ, and will have the new Brutes on display and for demo.

See you Sunday?

Hey Tom, I checked out the pics on FB of the singlecut and I'm loving the headless. Is that only going to be available in the tobacco burst or will it be offered in the dark red color as well?

Also, is the headless coming out at the same time as the regular one? And what's the street price expected to be on it?

Thanks for dealing with my barrage of questions! :D

The headless will not be coming with the standard single cut. As with all things in business, the tuner is licensed, and we are working out the details. The headless most likely will come in the fall. When it does, it will be offered in all the standard single cut colors.

I can't give you a street price yet, as it has to do with the licensing agreements we qare working on. For now, all I can say is that it will probably be slightly higher then the normal single cut as we are currently looking at using real Hipshot tuning bridges.
