Do they make these in bass form?

on the Billy sheehan bass he Attitude II (i have one! =D) the top 5 frets are scalloped on the D/G and the entire of Malmsteens fret board is super scalloped really really deep! he hates the feel of wood which is why, playing his guitar takes skill and strength control alot... i can't do it and The Attitude has it cuz it makes bends easier and you can puch the strings really high up for a really high note!

Do they make these in bass form? ..they barely make them in guitar form..that fret board must destroy strings ive seen scalloped fretboard but thats just dug out

Also, the scalloped frets make it easier to bend notes, or so I hear...
Actually if your willing to deal with Ed Roman You can have him make you one of his Abstract Extenda-vees in bass form, he claims to make any guitar also in bass form but you gotta be willing to pay the price

It's not for everyone...when you play a scalloped neck you have to have a feather light touch (which could be an attribute depending on how you look at it) because too much pressure on the string pulls its sharp. bending is alot easier, and so is vibrato --- but you have to really be able to control yourself and the pressure you exert.
That does absolutely nothing for me, and the scalloped fretboard is just over the top. The quality of the guitar looks fairly mediocre to me, especially for that price.
And I wouldn't trust a guitar maker with making a bass, the art of perfecting a bass is far different from a guitar, and seeing as how the guitar appears to be very far from perfection itself, I'd pass.

Scalloped fretboard aside, that's one of the ugliest guitars I've ever seen; I normally like Flying Vs, but this one took the beauty of that design and replaced it with hugely exagerated pointy extremities...it really looks like crap.
