Do ya wear it high, or sling it low...?

Somewhere between the chest and tummy button. I always thought blokes with it round their knees didn't half look daft, likewise with having it high as a bow tie. So happy compromise that means I don't get achey wrists :)

Kind of in the middle. My thumb, when resting on my E, is about even with my belt buckle. Higher makes my right wrist hurt and lower makes my left wrist hurt (sucks when you have broken both of them in your life)

Down about right there.

After reading this thread I realised how much the height of my bass varies from a sitting practice position to a standing performance position. And it cant be good for my playing / joints. So I have consequently moved my bass up. Bottom of the bass now just about at groin height. Feels most comfortable up there, not as high as most i know but enough for me.
I'd much prefer functionality over appearance, so if my bass playing is better live I dont mind how I look (i.e. Not fitting in with the supposed "lower is cooler" stereotype)!
