My cat's breath smells like cat food.
What I really hate is how Rotosounds lose their tone after just a day. Also, there needs to be more tort on P-basses, and there is no best bass for metal.Perhaps this has been well-trodden territory, but I always enjoy a good poll!
How often does your response to a thread actually answer the OP's inquiry (where applicable), or do you just go off on a rant, travelling into the depths of your own bass labyrinth?

A big part of getting a good answer is asking the right questions.
I generally try to answer a question as asked.
But when I know that answering that question isn't going to help them because they're asking the wrong question, I'll reframe their query and respond with something I feel will be more helpful to them. Although most times when I run into that I'll ask them what they're trying to accomplish first.

I try to answer questions, but they have to understand, we control the thread.

We're lucky in this case, that you're the only one responding in this manner, otherwise I could be up all night explaining how it's not wrong, it's just different.

It depends on the Topic of OP.
The other night I had this dream I was in a Walmart or similar and I ran into Loretta Lynn and she was sitting on a bench and she had a big bag of fireworks...like rockets and stuff, so I says to her " Loretta Lynn, what are you doin here ? she told me she just likes to sit and watch people and maybe sell a few fireworks.... I did buy one of those big rocket things off her, figured it was the polite thing to do.
