In my own apt., sure. Anywhere else, no.

But- I worked for 3 years in "janitorial deployment" at our local big "Arts" center, where the symphony, opera, & touring Broadway stuff play; also hosts weddings, other kinds of concerts, frat & sort formals, &c. After a big wedding or formal, it was not uncommon to find numerous food plates (salad, mainly) in the stalls of the Women's room. Finding drink glasses was common in both restrooms, of course.

What ELSE I used to find there I'll not relate... the horror, the horror!

The romance always goes sometime. If it wouldn't have been then it would have been when having to flush down one of the **** they forgot or that floated back up.


Personally it would have made me feel less inadequate. Id have thought "well if shes been with a guy that did this..." (i mean i wouldn't have left the door open, eat while going, whatever, its your food and your pooping time, but keep it private for god sake!)

Home bathroom? Sure.

Public restroom? Not as much, but yeah. If I'm on campus walking between classes, or on my way to catch a flight at the airport, with coffee in hand, and need to pop into the men's room, what else am I going to do with it? Leave it outside the door on the floor? Of course, if the men's room in question is dirty and disgusting, it would make me queasy and I'd try to find the least gruesome spot to set it down. Isn't usually that much of an issue.

If I was working in an office or something, though, I wouldn't take my coffee with me special for the bathroom break...
