Do you eat duck ?

I used to occasionally cook duck for Christmas but it is just too much of a pain in the butt for so little meat compared to turkey.


I had it quite a bit when I worked in a Chinese restaurant.

Roast duck in the UK, magret de canard in France, duck with red cabbage in Poland, Chinese crispy duck it's all delicious, I'll eat as much as I can get. I'm with the others, it's really nothing exotic just goooood.

For Christmas try a three bird roast. Boned out goose with a boned out duck inside it and a boned out pheasant inside that....beats a bland old turkey hands down

Duck is my absolute favorite meat. Just had some last night for dinner.

My favorite Thai restaurant's house specialty is Crispy Duck with Sweet Basil. It may be one of my favorite things I've ever eaten in my entire life. Unquestionably Top 5.

BUT for the last 6 years, I've known one thing - "I'm picky - don't order the duck on Sunday." After Friday and Saturday dinner rushes, the best of the duck meat has been eaten and what's left is much more likely to be heavy on the fat. New food shipment comes in Monday or Tuesday. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are awesome.

Here in South Arkansas, duck is a staple. Some of the best duck hunting in the world is here, and duck is cooked in many ways, including in gumbo.

I must say, though, that the best duck I ever had (and one of the best meals ever) was the roast duck at the Four Seasons. It was amazing.

roast duck is awesome! in fact tomorrow im having roast duck and fried rice for lunch... sometimes its pretty salty.. but that depends on whos making it.
