Me, personally...I haven't eaten a bite from McDingbats since the early 80s. My bride developed a soft spot for McDingbats iced coffee several years ago, and being the loving hubband I am, I would swing by if I got out of school early and knew she had to stay late. I backed my truck into a parking spot so that recognizing my ride would be harder...
I don't eat fast food at all anymore.

all the time. In Australia all we have is

Mcdonalds (we called it maccas)
KFC
subway
Hungry Jacks (australian Burger king)

and bunch of cruddy local chains. Normally eat it post workout because the high calorie food is great for bulking and getting in lots of calories for not much money. Its good for dieting too, especially if your macro breakdown favours carbs (which mine always does). I just wish we had a bigger range of chain stores.

Nothing to do with America. I used to eat fast food for breakfast in Thailand.

I'd grab a handful of grilled pork with some sticky rice on the way to work in the morning.
Melting fat was just dripping off of that pork on a stick.

Enough fuel to get me through to lunch for less than $1.

In another lifetime I was stationed in Bangkok (with USAF). We could buy a large bowl of pork fried rice or chicken fried rice, made on the spot by a street vendor, for like $1. And it was awesome good.

I hear ya, I used to live a couple of blocks from the Wallingford one and they were open until pretty late back then.
That's the one. It is still open late. The police who sometimes eat there really late are not impressed when you fall off a bicycle in front of them. I haven't done that for a long, long, time. But there it is.
