Do you guys think this looks good?

This is just a preview from the fender mod shop. Candy apple red with black pearl pickguard. I wish i could get block inlays but the mod shop is so limited.

Open to other suggestions. Im just exploring right now.
Respectfully, I would like to gently suggest that you (like all of us) do not need approval or compliments from the TB club. Individual tastes vary, and some seek to blend in whereas others strive to stand out from the crowd. You should play instruments that YOU like, and if you are ordering a custom bass, you should get one with details that YOU want. To do otherwise is like being a freshman in high school again, craving validation from one's peers. If you are trying to decide between a handful of options and unsure which one to settle on, then sure, conduct a poll if that will help you decide — but ultimately, it is what YOU think that matters.

Unnecessary response.

Huh. I gave the Fender Mod Shop website a spin for the first time and just noticed a problem...

In the "Orientation" option, "right handed" is the default. If you click "left handed", there's a $50 upcharge. Click "right handed" and the upcharge does not go away. Then put the bass in your cart and the $50 upcharge remains -- congratulations, you spent fifty bucks more on your right-handed bass than you had to.

So check your work before you buy from there because deleting options does not necessarily remove their cost from the total.

(Edited to add: Looks like the Jazz Bass is the only item that costs more for a lefty. Other products I checked don't have a lefty upcharge, but I didn't look at all of 'em. I've emailed a bug report to Fender's Customer Relations, let's see what happens.)
Update to this morning's post: Fender CR replied back acknowledging the problem and said their web team will be fixing it.

As long as YOU like it, that's all that really matters. Here's my Lefty Sire V-7 five string. It came with a pearloid guard, I prefer either mint green, or gold- dark color guards, draw your eyes away from the rest of the bass. I'd go with a Gold Anodized- but Fender doesn't make one for jazz basses- that would look amazing. I made both guards, one is mint green, the other is gold - but plastic, not aluminum. In my opinion, lighter colors flow nicely with the light color fingerboard, into the candy red of the body.
