Do you guys think this looks good?

This is just a preview from the fender mod shop. Candy apple red with black pearl pickguard. I wish i could get block inlays but the mod shop is so limited.

Open to other suggestions. Im just exploring right now.

Looks good. The Mod Shop updates and rotates options periodically. They have had block necks and I’m sure if you really want that just check every month.

Ha i know and i have checked darn near everyday for the past 6 months. They really are getting stingy with the options. All theyve done in 6 months to my knowledge is add a roasted neck option which looks weird to me.

I love black pearl on top of solid colors.

Here's black pearl on top of my Satin Lake Placid Blue P/J. It came from WD, 4 ply, black pearl/white/black/white with the wider bevel option. The wider bevel makes for a great thumb rest

I'm one who doesn't love blocks, especially black ones (funny 'cause I have 2 Jazz basses with them! But they're 70's reissues so c'est la vie). I think they can make a Jazz look too "busy". I like how you've spec'd yours--looks cool. Just to throw this out there---have you considered NO pickguard? It's a divisive look, but could be hot with that red/maple....

Well id imagine these are painted underneath so yeah i could remove it and see how it looks. But yeah ive seen some jazz basses without it.
