Do you have a bass room?

Unfortunately I don't have the space for bass/guitar/music room in my house. My wife complain about the space and I can only store the gear next to my desk in our home office. That means I won't be able to play my bass rig at home without moving it out and set it up.

I have a spare bedroom that I always consider turning into a music room.
However, because I'm single and live alone, I end up keeping all of my basses in my living room, right near my computer and right near the TV.
This ends up being the most convenient for me because I often practice bass while listening to songs on the computer.
Or, I like to veg out and play while watching tv or movies.
Also, the summer is VERY hot here, and VERY damp and chilly in the winter. The spare bedroom has not heat/ac, whereas the living room does.

So, short answer to your question. Yes, my living room :)

I have a fourth bedroom we used as a home office for a little while. Once laptops and then tablets took over here my wife and my daughter stopped using the office. I always had my basses hanging on the walls but didn't really play for years. My daughter is 11 now and saw me play for the first time about a year ago. I bought an amp and a few pedals and turned the office into my bass cave.

I do! I just bought a house a few months ago and currently its just my wife and I in a 3 bedroom that is much bigger than any house either of us have lived in before so we have lots of space. I currently have the downstairs bedroom all to my music. I can fit my whole band in there during practice and its a huge step up from our previous practice space as it has windows. I also get to have all my gear right next to my desk, on which I currently have my Macbook hooked into a 23" monitor which makes recording and the like very nice.

Some pics:
I have since added blinds (will be doing curtains soon) and some monitors at my desk, though I still pretty much only use headphones. Oh, and a rug
Also, the panels on the walls are home made sound absorption. The room is very very echo-y on its own and these helped a lot. I will be adding some to the ceiling and around the doors soon as well. If you want details of what I did I can give them. I think all of them cost me a total of maybe $80 to make.

My man cave is in the garage. My house has a very deep garage because the guy who had the house built wanted it that way for a boat he wanted to keep in it. His deal fell through, so I bought it. I carved out the back of it with a small room and hooked in to the a/c system. It is cramped because it is multi purpose. It has all my gun stuff and loading table and ammo and all my music equipment and a TV and a radio and a computer. The guns and guitars are in the master closet. The guns are in the safe.

Well, my wife and I set up the small second bedroom in our house as the music room, her guitars and amps, my bass' and amps, drum kit, drum machine, mixer and small PA. But as we started "acquiring" more stuff (GAS!), it got so small in there was no room for us in there. Plus running vocals and kick drum through the PA was REALLY LOUD. So she suggested we move into the small room and convert the master bedroom into our music room. It has worked out wonderfully. I truly am blessed....:hyper:

I basically have the same thing in my garage. My old guitar room is now my son's room. The basement bedroom and living room are also play rooms. The wife would like to turn my guitar room into another play room. Oh hellz no.
