Same here...my pix, though, are covers from LPs (Art stores sell frames for 'album art').
I rotate some in & out; I have-
Jaco (Invitation)
Weather Report (Black Market & Domino Theory)
Miles (Bitches Brew)
Coltrane (the "blue' album)
Hendrix (Live/Band of Gypsies)
AWB (Cut The Cake & Show Your Hand)
Steps Ahead (their debut)
Alice Cooper (Pretties For You)
Captain Beyond (their debut)
Dennis Coffey & the Detroit Guitar Band (the debut)
Tower Of Power (3rd album w/ "What Is Hip"?)
The Doors (Weird Scenes Inside The Gold Mine)...recently released on cd for the 1st time...if you're into a 2-cd "Greatest Hits" thing.
3 LPs by Steve Khan/Eyewitness (debut + Blades + Casa Loco).

...a few Beatles things are framed, too.

I have a music room but it's overrun with recorded music, [CDs Vinyl] so I have a practice nook set aside in the living room. It's just me and wifey in the same house for 30years and she's used to me having crap all over.

12X32' room,finished in the bass-ment., overflow L off of that about 16X10. Smaller built-in bar that is now the mixing station, computer station and recording gear station.

It used to be a spare bedroom, but now it's my bedroom and my bedroom is the new spare room. It's more of a music room with a computer. I've got a corkboard with sticky notes of what I need to be working on, a whiteboard calendar where I write what should be done when, a piano, my electric guitar, electric bass, and acoustic guitar. I keep all my gaming consoles and clothes and such in the spare room, though, trying to keep this as focused as possible.

*Sigh*. I used to have a bass room. My very own man cave. It was our spare bedroom where guests would stay, otherwise it was my "man space." Not only did I have my basses and amp in there, but also my old baseball card collection and various other dude stuff. All of which either got moved to my band's practice space, or put into storage with the arrival of our baby son.

Space will change as life changes. Most personal bass room I had was an about 6' X 6'X 6'(tall) space under the front porch of small first house I bought, which was accessible from basement. I was 23, the space I had was 1/2 the coal bin for the converted coal -> gas furnace which was still there - there was an equal space that was still full of . . . coal.:D

Thanks!! :) Band-mates may not like the drive but we truly have everything here, including great parking and distance from neighbors - neighbors told me they had no idea I played an instrument, despite me having a full band here once a week on average for a few years.

Maybe... once we get rid of all the excess crap from deceased parents and closed businesses, and when the kid goes to college in a couple of years. No basements in Miami (it would become an indoor pool) and building extra sq. footage is $$$. Hardly have time to play right now so it doesn't make sense to dedicate a lot of space. But it will happen.

For my wife (keys & vocals) and me: Still working on it in the back of our home. It was a great relief the moment everything could go out of our living room. The noiseroom is almost finished now.

Good job on bringing the old basement around.

I don't look at my space as a man cave at all - I share office space with my wife, we sit 90 degrees apart. Like "wiro" says - it's a noise-room.

Went back and looked through your whole album - good job man!! You did a lot of work to that old house, shoring things up, tuck-pointing brick and such. And the multi-later shots of your soundproofing and those frames you built to give that board & beamed look. Again,fantastic job - and the obligatory plumber's crack shot. :D

My room is nice but your room was earned through honest sweat - takes the win on cool factor with me.

I just HAVE to make a wall rack for all the instruments - I like Pilgrims and few others shown here. If I was single I would just hang them around the house as wall art.
